2nd woman arrested in connection with Davenport store thefts
A 25-year-old Davenport woman is in custody in connection with thousands of dollars in thefts from Davenport stores, according to court records.
Tianna Cooke faces felony charges of ongoing criminal conduct -unlawful activity and second-degree theft, court records show.

Incidents from 2023
Oct. 1, 2023: Cooke and a co-defendant entered Dick’s Sporting Goods at 5511 Elmore Ave., and took $1,605 of merchandise without paying, police allege in affidavits. They left in a white Chevy Cruze.
Oct. 4, 2023: In affidavits, police allege Cooke and and a co-defendant entered Kohl’s at 3910 Elmore Ave., and took $1,655 of merchandise without paying. They left in a white Chevy Cruze.
Oct. 13, 2023: Police allege in affidavits that Cooke entered Kohl’s at 3910 Elmore Ave., and took $955 of merchandise without paying.
Oct. 31, 2023: Cooke and co-defendants entered 3808 Brady St. (Theisen’s) and took $1,679 of merchandise without paying, police allege in affidavits. “They left in the same white Chevy Cruze,” police allege in affidavits.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m. Oct. 31: Cooke and her co-defendants entered Kohl’s at 3910 Elmore Ave. They arrived in a white Chevy Cruze with no registration plates, police say in affidavits. They left with about $2,750 of merchandise without paying. They left in the same white Chevy Cruze.
The total value of property stolen by the Cooke is $8,684.76, police allege in affidavits.
Police allege in affidavits that, about 2 p.m. Oct. 31, detectives located the white Chevy Cruze parked on the 2500 block of 15th Street Court, Rock Island.
Davenport Police Detectives and Rock Island Police identified the occupants of the car. Detectives saw a bag of stolen merchandise in plain view inside. A search warrant was completed for the vehicle and signed by a magistrate, affidavits show.
In the car, officers found a loaded black Ruger 9mm semi-auto handgun and about $2,069 of stolen merchandise, police allege in affidavits.
Cooke, who is being held on a $10,000 cash-only bond in Scott County Jail, is set for a preliminary hearing March 12 in Scott County Court.
Woman arrested earlier
Willshanique Evans, 23, who was arrested earlier on a warrant, also faces felony charges of ongoing criminal conduct – unlawful activity, and second-degree theft, court records say.

About 4:17 p.m. May 13, Evans and another person entered Kohl’s at 3910 Elmore Ave., Davenport, police allege, where the two left the store together with $75 of merchandise without paying, affidavits say.
Other incidents include:
May 16: Police allege Evans and another person entered Kohl’s again and concealed merchandise, leaving the store with $95 of merchandise without paying.
Oct. 1: Evans and another person entered Dick’s Sporting Goods, 5511 Elmore Ave., Davenport, where police allege they took $1,605 of merchandise without paying, police allege.
Oct. 4: Police allege Evans and another person entered Kohl’s, 3910 Elmore Ave., Davenport, and walked out with $1,655 of merchandise without paying.
Oct. 31, Evans and another person entered Theisen’s, 3808 Brady St., Davenport. They left the store with $1,679 in merchandise without paying, police allege, and the same day went to the store and left with $2,750 in merchandise without paying.
Evans case is set for continue with pretrial conferences in Scott County Court on March 13.
